With a growing number of riders experimenting with different forks, wheel sizes and gravel frankencycles, there's all sorts of reasons you might need a little more height up front.
A taller bottom headset cup can lift your bike back into position where it is designed to be, correcting geometry and making your bike ride the way it should.
A couple of examples...
If you're underforking an enduro bike, from say a Rockshox Zeb160 to a Rockshox Lyrik160, then the +12mm option works a treat.
For those wanting to run a 27.5" front wheel in a 29" fork, you will need the +18mm option.
All Heads Up cups accept a 45 degree headset bearing from CaneCreek, Enduro, FSA, Wolftooth and most other brands.

Quality over quantity
Cheap materials are just that, and it shows in the final product.
Material quality is everything, as is material origin. We source all materials from either Canada or the US.
Design > Program > Manufacture > Finish > Inspect
Everything that gets made here has to be designed first in CAD. After that, parts are programmed in CAM software before we head over to the machines.
Most parts are machined on the Okuma CNC lathe. This often involves producing a first proof, before making the final piece. From here, many parts get transferred onto the Emco manual lathe or manual milling machine for secondary operations.
After this, there is often laser engraving work done before final inspection.
